There are circumstances in which a focused service is more appropriate than a new comprehensive evaluation. Bluebirds Developmental & Educational Psychology offers targeted assessment and consultation services for families throughout Augusta, Evans, Martinez, Columbia County, North Augusta, and Aiken who have a specific question, an established evaluation history, or existing records that need clinical review.
Focused services may include cognitive and/or adaptive functioning assessment, academic achievement assessment, clinical consultation, and review and interpretation of existing records. The appropriate service is determined based on the child's history, existing information, and the specific questions to be addressed. For children with an established evaluation history, prior results may help determine whether a new comprehensive evaluation or a more focused assessment is clinically appropriate.
Focused services are priced individually based on the scope and length of the referral question.
Because a focused service may involve a brief record review, a single assessment measure, or a longer consultation, the fee is determined after discussing your specific need. Bluebirds will provide a clear quote before any work begins.
Bluebirds is a private-pay practice. We provide a detailed superbill for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Financing options may be available for all or part of the fee, subject to applicable terms and approval.
