Bluebirds provides comprehensive evaluations for families in Augusta, GA and the surrounding CSRA—including Columbia County, Evans, Martinez, North Augusta, and Aiken, SC—from preschool through college for developmental, learning, attention, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns. Whether your family is seeking answers about autism, ADHD, dyslexia, learning differences, or a combination of concerns, each evaluation is thoughtfully shaped by your child's history, strengths, concerns, and the questions that matter most.
Our Philosophy
Every Bluebirds Evaluation is comprehensive by design.
We don't begin with a predetermined testing package. We begin by understanding your child—their developmental history, strengths, challenges, and current needs—and then thoughtfully select the assessment tools needed to answer the questions that brought your family to Bluebirds. Findings are interpreted across developmental, psychological, cognitive, and educational domains.
Individualized. Assessment is selected based on your child's age, history, strengths, concerns, and the questions the evaluation needs to answer.
Comprehensive. Comprehensive evaluations involve direct assessment across the areas needed to answer the evaluation questions—not a brief screening or a predetermined set of tests.
Integrated. Dual expertise in clinical and school psychology brings evidence-based clinical judgment together with meaningful educational planning, so findings are considered across developmental, psychological, cognitive, and educational domains.
Actionable. The evaluation concludes with a comprehensive report, individualized recommendations, and a dedicated feedback session to help your family understand what comes next.

We believe families should know the cost of an evaluation before they begin. There are no hidden fees or additional charges for the services included in your comprehensive evaluation.

Every Bluebirds Evaluation is individually designed. The assessment measures and length of each testing session may vary based on your child's age, history, strengths, concerns, and the questions the evaluation needs to answer.
Bluebirds is a private-pay practice.
Most evaluations include three appointments: a clinical intake, testing, and a feedback session. Testing is sometimes divided across multiple sessions depending on your child's needs. Intake and feedback appointments may be conducted via telehealth when appropriate; testing is conducted in person.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule the clinical intake and is applied toward the total evaluation fee. Following the clinical intake, the remaining balance is due before testing is scheduled.

Bluebirds accepts major credit cards for the intake deposit and remaining balance.
Financing is available through CareCredit for all or part of the evaluation fee, subject to application, credit approval, and CareCredit's terms.
HSA and FSA payments are accepted for your evaluation fee.
Out-of-network
Bluebirds does not participate with insurance plans, but we provide a detailed superbill you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan and cannot be guaranteed.
